the firm "set a record for the most wireless keypads
ever used at a single location anywhere in the
world." Mitchell indicated, "We were set up for
10,500 participants and actually operated with 8,100
keypads during the event. OTI had 21 members of our
team on-site to make it happen. It went off
flawlessly.”
The OptionPower® software
system, used in conjunction with the OptionFinder IQ
hardware made it possible for every participant to
instantly respond to interactive questions involving
dental implant technology and surgical procedures.
The program involved live surgeries and clinical
demonstrations beamed by satellite from Australia,
Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Italy and the United
States directly to the conference site in Las
Vegas.
Jason Gerlach, Option
Technologies Director of Development served as the
technical producer coordinating the hardware and
software data collection and reporting components of
the program. Gerlach, who has been with the firm
for six years indicated, "The range, speed and

tremendous. We were able to cover the entire arena
without any need for auxiliary antennas." Gerlach
