Option Technologies Interactive, LLC, announced the acquisition of the Chicago rental services operations of Digivote USA, Inc. The acquisition will provide OTI with a fulfillment office in the greater Chicago area and several hundred additional clients.
According to Mark Fite, President and CEO, the acquisition offers a number of key advantages to customers: "This acquisition will provide enhanced service and support options. With a new Chicago location, we can more cost effectively service meetings in a location where thousands of major meetings take place each year. In addition, the legacy Digivote clients will gain access to a much broader line of exciting interactive hardware and software solutions. These clients will now have access to the largest pool of high-end interactive rental equipment and support personnel in the North America."
Fite indicated that all Option Technologies clients will benefit from the increased scope associated with the acquisition. "OTI has created the largest technical, programming and customer services team in the industry. The OptionFinder
® and OptionPower
® brands are well known by those who use interactive response systems. With the larger enterprise, our clients will have more options to get what they need, where and when they need it," said Fite.
"This acquisition should be a simple transition for everyone, and our attention will remain on providing the same great customer service our OTI and Digivote clients have come to expect,” Fite stated, “We’ve already integrated the two staff teams and have linked our back office systems. Beth Blair, the former Vice President of Digivote USA, will serve as our Director of Operations for the Chicago location. So, the transition for clients should be very smooth. Now we’re looking forward to growing our activities in Chicago."
