Option Technologies Announces OptionFinder VPTM
   Web Based Response System

August 14, 2003, Orlando, FL

Option Technologies Interactive, LLC announced a new product, OptionFinder VPTM (Virtual Participant) that makes real-time response using a browser, a reality for live meetings and classrooms.

"This is another breakthrough product for our company," announced Mark Fite, President and CEO. "OptionFinder VPTM (Virtual Participant) is a web-based polling tool. It will allow individuals using a browser to participate in interactive polling sessions in ways similar to individuals using our wireless handheld keypads," said Fite. "It is a great solution for clients who have computer labs or large groups equipped with Wi-Fi PDA’s or notebook computers," he indicated.

Jamie Coughlin, Product Manager, explained that the core technology involved with OptionFinder VPTM, developed as part of a strategic alliance, makes it the first browser-based polling tool that works with Microsoft PowerPoint® software. "The great thing about this product," said Coughlin, "is that is doesn’t require the installation of any software on the client PC. Instructors in a classroom, or presenters in a business meeting, can instantly poll the group and display results in a PowerPoint chart, all using this thin client approach."

Company representatives have begun offering demonstrations of a beta version of the product to key corporate and university clients. Fite indicated that release of the product is scheduled for the third quarter of 2003. "This product has been developed over the last three years. The unique underlying methodology," said Fite", feeds all the response data instantly to an SQL database linked to PowerPoint."

Individuals using computers, notebooks or personal digital assistants (PDA’s) can use OptionFinder VPTM (Virtual Participant) to answer questions or instantly send text-based answers, questions or comments to a presenter. "We’ve optimized the browser page display to work with PDA’s and notebook computer displays," said Fite. "This is a great tool to improve learning and meeting environments by engaging everyone real time," he related.

The company will be marketing the product to corporations and universities equipped with Wi-Fi environments. Fite indicated some of the firm’s university clients will be doing major research projects with OptionFinder VPTM in fall 2003.
