Option Technologies is pleased to announce the release of OptionPower 1.1. Following the release of OptionPower 1.0 in fall 2002, OTI’s first PowerPoint based polling software has undergone months of enhancements in anticipation of this latest release.
Mark Fite, President of Option Technologies, says the new features are geared towards classroom learning environments and meetings where individual responses need to be tracked. “OptionPower now has a roster tool that lets you assign individuals to keypads,” said Fite. “Each person’s responses can be associated with their keypad. There are new instructor reports that summarize results for an entire class or group as well as individual feedback reports for students.”
“Another great feature is our login capability that allows participants to enter a code on their keypad to identify themselves. This means users who own advanced keypads systems like OpitonFinder IQ or Reply DL don’t have to roster participants ahead of time.”
The following features and enhancements are available in OptionPower 1.1:
- Roster Capability - Individuals can now be assigned to keypads with this handy utility.
- Enhanced Reports – Enhanced Reports - Includes new instructor grade book and student feedback reports.
- Support for Group Competition Module (sold separately) - The OptionPower Group Competition Module includes team and individual competition utilizing themes from television game shows.
- Support for login with Advanced Keypad Systems - Participants can enter a code into their keypad (OptionFinder® IQ, Reply DL keypads) making it possible to track responses by individual.
- Support for the new IQ hardware platform - OptionPower now supports, OptionFinder IQ, our latest innovation in radio frequency keypads.
Coinciding with release of OptionPower 1.1, Option Technologies has released the new OptionPower Group Competition Module. This powerful new software utility gives OptionPower users the ability to add interactive learning games to PowerPoint presentations.
