Option Technologies is pleased to announce the release of OptionPower 1.2, the latest version of the firm’s flagship PowerPoint-based interactive response software.
In announcing the latest release, Mark Fite, President of Option Technologies, said "This is a major milestone for OTILLC. We have successfully transitioned our new software development model that supports a schedule of three major releases per year. We are now delivering breakthrough features every four months," he said.
Fite described the list of features included in the 1.2 release and indicated that "there are twenty-three new features or enhancements in this release of OptionPower. The focus of the release is a full suite of multi-digit data collection, presentation and reporting tools. These tools support our more advanced OptionFinder IQ, DX, and DL hardware platforms."
"This release will be very helpful to clients who are using interactive technology in classrooms and market research applications," said Fite. "Those clients need support for multiple choice answers and numeric entry responses to math problems or surveys. They will really enjoy the power of instantly collecting, scoring and viewing results from
such questions, including responses that contain decimal points," he shared.
"We’ve also created a major breakthrough in live data comparison that is another first in our industry," Fite shared. "Now, OptionPower will instantly show before/after data comparisons between two slides in a presentation and will compare those results to data gathered in other sessions and surveys," Fite stated. "This new tool provides a very powerful method of showing live comparisons against several normative data sets. It’s a wonderful, flexible way to instantly show what has been learned in a classroom or to compare the thinking of one survey group against many others."
