“This release offers a number of new features and enhancements for clients using OptionPower for survey and decision-making applications.” Fite stated.  “There are nine new features included in the release.  The focus of this release is to managers with new tools to make surveys and small group decision making faster and easier,” said Fite. 

“With this release, OTI now offers the most advanced interactive PowerPoint software available.  There are a several PowerPoint polling teaching tools on the market but none has the advanced capabilities of OptionPower,” said Fite.   “With additional features supporting advanced hardware platforms like OptionFinder IQ, our clients can now gather more precise survey data with multiple choices or multiple digits.  OptionPower 3.0 makes interaction faster, easier, and much more effective than other systems.”

Fite described the Question Category Manager, one of the major new additions included in the 3.0 release.  “Users can now link several individual polling questions to one or more logical categories.  For example, someone conducting an employee survey can ask five questions about employee benefits.   The Category Manager allows the user to indicate that those five questions should be linked to a logical scoring group.  The user can then easily review scored data that combines results from all five questions into a single scored measure of satisfaction for the “Benefits” variable,” said Fite.   “Users can print a Category report that gives them a fast, useful overview comparing category results,” he stated.

The new release also includes a new Simple Ranking Slide that works in conjunction with the OptionFinder IQ hardware system.    Fite described this as “a tool that allows users to rank a short list of up to nine items quickly and easily with only one polling slide.”  “It’s amazingly fast,” said Fite.  “Users can cut the time required for an item ranking exercise from twelve minutes to ninety seconds.”
