Option Technology Interactive - People

OTI'S FOUNDERS

Mark Fite - President and CEO
Mark has spent more than 20 years as a manager, product and market developer. Prior to helping to found Option Technologies Interactive, LLC, Mark wore a number of hats, including General Manager, for an international association with more than 200,000 members. He supervised functional teams involved with information technology, meetings, conventions, publications, volunteer development, member recruitment, member education, volunteer development and strategic planning. Mark earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association executives in 1985 and holds a bachelors degree in sociology and masters degree in business administration.

In 1989, Mark moved to the private sector as Chief Operating Officer for Stage America, Inc., a privately held production management company headed by Ray Franklin. He helped establish three sister companies and grew the core operations, sales, marketing and administrative functions to support an eight fold increase in annual volume. As part of these efforts, in 1991 Mark co-founded MeetingNet Interactive Systems, a provider of audience response technology for large corporate meetings. This firm created MeetingNet, a powerful MS Windows based multimedia presentation software package for audience interaction. Other MIS products included "SurveyMaster, a package used for organizational development surveys and MeetingNet DL, a multi-site training and distance-learning tool.

Mark currently serves as President/CEO for OTI and leads a staff of 40 who create products and services that make meetings more effective. You can contact him at 407-872-3333, by fax at 407-872-3330, or by email at mfite@optiontechnologies.com.

OTI'S PROGRAMMING TEAM
The people who bring great software to life

OTI has a staff of full-time programmers working hard to translate customer requirements into great software. Their history is one of diligently working on the software until it is right: it optimizes the keypad systems, it doesn't crash, it doesn't lose data, and it supports the group processes that our customers want. When our customers and their customers want more, our programming team keeps working until they have it.

The programming team is made up a diverse group of very talented individuals with backgrounds ranging from electrical engineering to aircraft design engineering, from support of the Prodigy Online Services to building data linkages between applications programs and popular report writing, database and spreadsheet software packages. The synergies created by this diversity help the programming team to not only come up with creative solutions to software design, but also responding to our customers' more challenging technical problems.

OTI'S CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM
The people who support you everyday

The Customer Support Team makes up the largest part of the OTI staff. Their job is to focus on responding to customer requirements: from answering questions over the telephone to mailing out product information, from configuring and shipping the equipment ordered for purchase or rental to traveling to the customer site to support a meeting or train OptionFinder users. The team has created internal systems that have almost eliminated shipping, equipment and other support problems for our customers. However, when something does go wrong, the Customer Support Team operates from a philosophy of:

"Do what it takes to solve the problem now and, only after it is solved, work out the financial side of the transaction."
