Council Voting Module - Accelerate The Balloting Process

The OptionPower Council Voting Module helps legislative bodies accelarate their deliberations with electronic polling. This advanced tool gathers, tabulates and publicly displays votes from individual representatives using handheld wireless keypads. Those who need improved speed and accuracy in balloting processes will benefit from implementation of this tool.

A powerful voting display capability is at the heart of the CVM module. Users create and display PowerPoint slides indicating the name of the motion or ballot initiative and how each representative cast their vote. The module is highly flexible and can be configured to display who has voted, vote totals, and an indicator specifying whether a particular motion has passed or failed.

The Council Voting Module is designed to help legislatures, city councils and association boards tabulate and display voting results quickly and easily. The Module works with a variety of OptionFinder® wireless audience response keypad hardware platforms.

KEY CAPABILITIES

Flexible Display Panel - Shows individual names, districts or precincts along with the individual vote cast (e.g. Yes, No, Abstain).
Rotating Individual Display - Changes manually or on a timed interval cycle to display results from an unlimited number of individual voting representatives.
Vote Tally - Shows total votes cast, live during polling or after polling is closed.
On-Screen Vote Confirmation - Display can be configured to show result labels (Yes/No/Abstain) and colored indicators in a way that matches the preferences or voting procedures.
Results Indicator - Tabulates and displays the results of vote (e.g. Pass or Fail) based on formulas or majority thresholds.
