OTI offers a Hardware Maintenance Program for OptionFinder and MeetingNet Audience Response Systems purchased from OTI. The warranty plan does not cover computers or projectors. The hardware maintenance program is only available to license holders participating in the
OTI Software Maintenance Program.
Purchase of an OTI system includes one year in the Hardware Maintenance Program. At any time during the 24 months following purchase, the license holder may elect to add a hardware maintenance rider to the OTI Audience Response System Software Maintenance Agreement for the second year and beyond. Coverage begins immediately after the manufacturer's warranty lapses, twelve months after purchase. For example, if a plan is purchased eighteen months after the software is purchased, six months of coverage will have elapsed and the equipment will only be covered for another six months. As with the Software Maintenance Program, membership in the Hardware Maintenance Program must be continuous.
